SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER

In this role, you will take a lead in the planning, preparation and completion of small and large projects. You will have a role in acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors/consultants in order to deliver projects to time and to budget.

Additionally, you will have a significant leadership role and assist with managing the IT Project Team, ensuring adequate training and development.

Working as part of our highly collaborative IT Team your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the development and implementation of IT project management including strategic planning and objectives;
• Manage and monitor processes to ensure ongoing development of IT project planning and efficient functioning of the Project Office;
• Establish IT project budgets and allocate resources, monitor budgets and report on expenditure;
• Direct, plan and manage IT projects including identifying project dependencies and critical path;
• Define and manage project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrated Project management experience in planning, preparation and completion of multiple small and large projects according to appropriate quality standards within time and cost constraints. You will have a role in acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Integral to this role are extensive analytical and problem solving capabilities. Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency are required. Full membership of a relevant project management institution is highly desirable.
